Sentimental cool.

'Avant-Danse' is up and running. 'Katashiro/Paper doll' will be put on hold and lastly 'And I was the concierge' will likely be broken down into a series of chapters, that I cannot stand for I just can't see a one-shot to be broken down into something I thought was so intangible.
I'm upset.
I cannot let that happen. God I feel useless.

This is for some fun that I haven't had in a while:
This was actually part of 'Innocent starters' but due to the constraints of which drabble I was going to put in the final, I left this particular one out. So out of the draft this one came:
Natsuki threw on her shirt, as she buttoned it up, she made her way pass the bathroom to check on her partner. She glanced at the beauty that stood in front of the mirror and spoke loud enough for both of them to hear,
'You don't need to doll up, we're just going to eat lunch.'
'I'm not.'
'Then what are you doing in front of the mirror that takes 5 minutes of time away?'
Nothing was said in reply and emerald eyes stared briefly at her companion. Getting tad a little impatient, the midnight rider eased out,
'I'll wait at the door.'
Minutes passed and Natsuki stared back at the walkway to their room and looked down back to her boots. She gave off a breath and wondered what was taking Shizuru so long just to get ready for lunch? She untied the laces of her boots and kicked up from the front step and headed for the bathroom.
'Shizuru?'
Natsuki called out hesitantly as she approached the bathroom, then as she turned to step through the doorway, a flurry of brown was seen and suddenly she pressed against the wall. Hot lips smeared against hers, clear emerald eyes widened at the impact and resisted at first to only realise that her brown haired companion was kissing her. Arms went around her neck and she fought back for dominance.
Soon, after a long passionate battle, and when a draw was finally met, both pulled apart for air and she realised how red Shizuru's lips were. Touching the sides of her lips, Natsuki stared at the crimson substance and growled,
'Lipstick!'
Tracing the jaw of midnight blue, Shizuru smiled deviously and purred innocently,
'I always wanted to do that.'
Looking at her partner that was slumped against her, Natsuki groaned,
'Ugh! How much did you put on!'
'Enough for me to do it once more.'
All Natsuki saw was the haze of desire in those crimson pools and then the rest was history.
-Thus ends this short drabble-
It was written on the 01.01.09. It seems that I had my own fun on the first day of the New Year. Then again, I remember all I had with me was my book and my little hermit self that sat in the room. I wondered where everyone went to then.
As I said once, I'll say it again,
My presence was more of an absence.

I had not talk to her for quite some time and not too long ago when she came to pick me up, we had a small conversation that went somewhat like this:
I looked at the buildings that whizzed past us and turned to look at how fast was she was driving. She caught my stare and instead of telling me what I thought she would say, like how she knew she shouldn't be driving so fast, she said this,
'You seem down.'
I turned away and let out a weird noise,
'Ughzzt.'
She chuckled,
'What is that suppose to mean?'
'I'm out of battery.'
She laughed this time and I slumped further back into the cushion of the front seat. She moved her eyes back onto the road and I gave out a sigh. Soon enough, she just spoke aloud,
'Maybe it is just not your cup of tea?'
I looked down at the huge blister on my left hand that had burst recently and I forced out a weak smile,
'Yeah, maybe it is.'
She turned the car into the tunnel and I watched the scenery change and the tunnel lights flood my view. She continued after me,
'It's alright, you'll find something else you would enjoy even more.'
This time I smiled a true one,
'Something that is to my favour of my taste buds.'
At that, we both laughed.
So are you doing what you like? Or are you forcing yourself too?

Then again,
Cheers!
It's like you can read my mind or something! I just watched Ga Rei Zero last night and loved it. Then I come to your blog and bam! Yomi and Kagura! Is this the other pairing that has caught your eye? because they have to mine!
ReplyDeleteMaybe you can read my mind too? Yes, indeed the pairing of Yomi and Kagura had caught my eye, but it seems that the impact has not striked me as hard as it has for Mai-Hime. It seems that I just can't pull myself away from Mai-Hime! ;]
ReplyDeleteHmm, I wonder. Why is it so upsetting to have 'And I was a concierge' split up into a series of chapters?
ReplyDeleteThat was a very cute drabble you wrote on new years day - a very fascinating way to start the year. I wonder if that'll reflect what kind of year you'll have.
:D
"So are you doing what you like? Or are you forcing yourself too?"
Wow, it almost felt like you were taking a jab at me. XD
I've probably confused you, so I'll stop talking. Right. Now.
